On October 29, 2015 the Alaska Workers’ Compensation Board adopted, as emergency regulations, changes in Title 8 of the Alaska Administrative Code relating to fees for medical treatment and services.

The emergency regulations were filed on November 3, 2015 by the Lieutenant Governor, take effect on December 1, 2015, and will expire on March 1, 2016.   The Alaska Workers' Compensation Board intends to make the emergency regulations permanent, pending any action by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development on or after December 1, 2015 to adopt, amend or repeal regulations by emergency action.  See the attached copy of the filed version of the regulations.

The new regulations will be printed in Register 216, January 2016 of the Alaska Administrative Code.
